The Boston Society of Neurology and Psychiatry has been in existence since 1880. It is a vibrant and exciting forum for discussion of a wide range of topics in the clinical neurosciences. The Boston Society promotes interaction across institutions, between disciplines, and between senior and junior faculty and trainees. It is a true gem in the Boston neuroscience community.
The members and audience include clinicians and investigators in the fields of neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience as well as in neurology and psychiatry. Meetings consist of lectures, mini-symposia, case conferences and clinical presentations that cover a cross section of interests in the clinical and behavioral neurosciences. A new element, Chief’s Rounds, aims to provide an opportunity to experience first hand the art and science of clinical diagnosis, discussion, and decision making in clinical neurology and psychiatry.
